Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is a Shakespeare adaptation that runs roughly around 2 hours with an intermission.  The actual dialogue is closer to 90 minutes, but with music, fight, and dance choreography, it lengthens the run time.

Description: Created with characters such as Vikings and Faeries, this adaptation of Romeo and Juliet is a captivating fusion of Shakespearean tragedy and fairy-tale charm, immersing the audience in a world where love, magic, and destiny collide. This unique interpretation invites spectators to explore the themes of love, fate, and the power of enchantment in a whimsical and visually stunning setting.

 

Note for music:  Our University used our ASCAP and SESAC license as well as following the fair use checklist when using popular music and mash-ups in our script.

 

Adaptation Note: This script was edited for length from Shakespeare's original play and was adapted with detailed stage directions to assist Middle & High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Community theatre create Shakespeare for a unique audience experience.
